1200TOUR is a concert and music education experience created and programmed by Louisville musician Jecorey “1200” Arthur. Following the 1200 concert students will be provided hands-on learning opportunities in a specialized area by professional crew members in a workshop environment. Concentrations include singing, rapping, songwriting, deejaying, visual production, audio production, and more. All programming is offered to students grades K-12.
At-risk youth will participate in a music education experience that will positively impact their future by instilling a value in their education, encouraging new career paths, exploring diversity in the arts, and eliminating cultural barriers.
1200 TOUR is proudly presented and sponsored by AMPED [Academy of Music Production Education and Development], a free music program that aims to provide a safe environment for youth to explore their creativity through the arts. For more information visit AMPEDLOUISVILLE.ORG
